Throw No Stones Sex Worker Resource Center (SRC) is a fully inclusive organization dedicated to supporting individuals connected to or involved in the sex work industry, both past and present. Our doors are open to all genders, and we are committed to providing a judgment-free and stigma-free space for everyone.
Purpose and Mission
Throw No Stones SRC is dedicated to supporting individuals connected to the sex work industry in rural and suburban areas of the Atlantic provinces in Canada. We are headquartered in Truro, Nova Scotia. We aim to provide tailored resources for those actively working in the industry, transitioning out, or dealing with the repercussions of past involvement. Our goal is to empower individuals to achieve safety, stability, and personal growth, regardless of their circumstances.
Vision Statement
To create a supportive community where individuals in or formerly involved in sex work can access comprehensive services and opportunities to build healthy and fulfilling lives without stigma or judgment, regardless if that stigma and judgment is internal, external, or both.
How We Support Our Clients
At Throw No Stones SRC, we understand the diverse needs of those in or transitioning out of sex work. While we do not presently provide direct services ourselves (as funding becomes available we will), we are committed to connecting clients to the right resources, including:

Law Enforcement Support: Helping clients navigate legal systems and ensuring their rights are respected.

Counseling and Therapists: Referrals to mental health professionals specializing in trauma, self-esteem, and personal growth.

Anonymous STD Testing: Confidential referrals to clinics and health centers for testing and treatment.

Peer Support Groups: Opportunities to connect with others who share similar experiences for encouragement and understanding.

Legal Advocacy: Guidance on legal matters, including rights protection and representation.

Meal Programs and Food Banks: Assistance with accessing essential nutrition and meals.

Community Services: Connection to social supports for housing, employment, and more.

Public Health Services: Referrals to programs promoting general well-being and safety.

Sexual Health Centers: Education, resources, and services for sexual health.

We see you as a person deserving of dignity and respect, and we work tirelessly to eliminate stigma and promote understanding, ensuring that all individuals—whether currently in the industry, transitioning out, or affected by past involvement—are met with respect, empathy, and non-judgmental care.
